Bio
LaQuita
Cleare is working to become an actress that is consistently recognized
for her performances both on the big and small screens.
She was born in Chicago, IL and began taking ballet and
gymnastics classes at the age of 5.
The acting bug bit soon after when her mother enrolled her in a
local acting class. As a
child she loved to perform in front of others.
“I used to perform in front of my family and my Grandmother
would make everyone give me money when I was finished.”
She
performed in plays throughout junior high and high school always feeling
a rush of energy when onstage. After
graduating from high school, she went on to receive a B.A. in Theatre
and Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago.
While in college she began auditioning for plays and doing
commercials and industrials in the city.
She has performed in plays ranging from Shakespeare to the annual
Playwrights fest at Pegasus Players.
After college before moving to L.A. LaQuita wanted the experience
of traveling abroad. By
herself, she ventured to Morocco, Spain, and Portugal for one month.
Upon returning, just six months after graduating from college
LaQuita arrived in L.A. with two suitcases in hand ready to make her
mark.
She
just completed an episode of “Strong Medicine,” and has done several
indie films. She also
produced and starred in the film, “Something in Common,” which will
have several upcoming screenings. LaQuita
teaches salsa lessons in her spare time and along with acting, salsa is
one of her true passions. When
talking about acting she says, “I’m in this for the long haul.
I eat, sleep, and dream acting and I’m determined to be one of
the busiest actresses in Hollywood.”
